Owning Your Wins

Why is it so much easier to promote others than ourselves? We cheer on friends and colleagues easily, yet hesitate to highlight our own successes—almost as if it comes across as arrogance.

But self-promotion isn’t about over-confidence or ego. It’s about valuing your own work as much as you value others'.

My Business Success Coach once asked me, "What would you say to a friend launching their business?" I must have been in the midst of a moment of self-doubt.

Without hesitation, I said, “I’d be excited for them and offer all the encouragement I could.” So, why not give yourself that same energy?

Promoting yourself is merely recognizing your worth. Let’s start celebrating our own journeys with the same enthusiasm we give to others.

Ask yourself: If I were my own best advocate, how would I celebrate my accomplishments today?
