Designing Your Life
At the start of this year, while deep in burnout and considering a career overhaul, my work/life coach recommended I read "Designing Your Life".
Ironically, I already owned the book—it had been sitting on my shelf, forgotten. Dusting it off felt like a sign, so I dove in.
The book immediately resonated with me—a blend of anecdotal storytelling and practical exercises, perfect for someone who loves to envision, prototype, and do the work.
I journaled what energized and drained me for 2 weeks, built a workbook full of reflections (and many MANY color-coded tabs…IYKYK), and took copious notes.
Coming up with 3 different life scenarios felt actionable and cathartic.
"Designing Your Life" didn’t just inspire me; it changed the trajectory of my career. It led me to pursue my iPEC coaching certification and focus on what’s always fueled me most: people + impact.
I’m usually cautious about sharing resources, as not everything resonates with everyone. But, if you're seeking clarity in your career or life path, it’s a powerful place to start!
